Miami, Mykonos, Margate – however different these places may seem, they are united by one thing: their beaches. And, needless to say, that’s why we love them.

While it’s a privilege to be sitting on a beach at any time of year, summer tends to be when this translates into somewhat of a need. Although the general consensus is that beaches are where one goes to relax, there’s a lot more to them than that – especially if you end up in Mykonos.

When it comes to dressing for the beach, there are two distinct categories: what you wear for laying down and what you wear to live it up. In true KOIBIRD style, we don’t recommend forgoing glamour for either of them – sequins are just as suitable for day as they are night, and sunglasses are for mystique as well as sun protection. Just don’t forget your SPF.
