When he was six years old, Dalí wanted to be a cook. At sixty-eight, his ambition was fulfilled in the form of a book: Les Dîners de Gala. Originally published in 1973 in French, the book consists of 12 chapters and features 136 recipes from celebrated Parisian restaurants such as La Tour d’Argent and Maxim’s.
