Words by Anna-Sophie Mungenast
My Ibiza trips over the years have always been a mix of being social and enjoying the island’s beautiful nature and beaches. I first went when I was 19, but back then my girlfriends and I used to set alarm clocks to attend after parties at 8am! This trip was a little different, I had the most relaxing holiday with my baby boy – on a very different schedule.
In my opinion, there is only one club worth visiting in Ibiza (though some may disagree), and that's DC10. If you fancy a proper 10-hour dance session, be there around 8pm! They have the best DJs, sound system, and crowd, and I love that planes fly above your head while they come in for landing at the airport right next door. Other than that, it’s all about private house parties.
For understated luxury, rent beach beds at Casa Jondal. It's very beautiful and the restaurant behind – hidden amongst pine trees – is also so lovely. For raw and untouched beaches, go to the north of the island. And Formentera is of course also worth the boat ride!
For this trip, I chose fun, glittery and colourful outfits – it’s Ibiza after all, a happy place where I am surrounded by my best friends.
The Oseree glitter bikini and matching trousers, with a linen shirt on top to protect myself from the sun.
The mushroom print silk slip dress from Rodarte. It’s so chic and fun, I got so many compliments!
The Anouki draped tulle corset dress was a dream in the sunset light. The couple asked us to wear pastels, and even though the dress is very out-there, it was an elegant dream in the breeze. I felt like a modern Cinderella.
