As simple as it should be, life is complicated. We don’t always like doing what we’re good at. We fall in love with people who aren’t right for us. But, worst of all, sometimes seasons – especially in the Northern Hemisphere – don’t come with the appropriate weather. This is why, even at the height of summer, you may find yourself looking foolish in shorts or a skirt because it is – somehow – freezing AF. There’s a solution, though: summer trousers. 

Summer trousers are a wardrobe essential for anyone living in an unreliable climate (which makes quite a few of us). They're also a wardrobe essential for anyone on holiday in a (hopefully) more reliable climate. Pair them with an oversized shirt for a breezy look during the day and a tiny top for something slightly more glamorous at night – simple really. 

If you think trousers – and summer trousers in particular – are boring, you are very much mistaken. At KOIBIRD at least, they come in many forms from lamé fuschia flares to psychedelic stirrup leggings. Who knew keeping one finger on the pulse of practicality could look so good?
